It's pained faces that I see in my dreams,
In their screams I hear agony and anger,
I wish for all the lord there was something I could do,
But it's only a dream,
And I'm not you.
There is only so much that I can accomplish,
With these feeble hands and heart,
And none of it is helping others,
For all I can do is make them suffer,
What a miserable existence I live.
But don't we all have our demons?
Our banes to face and fight?
I keep trying to defy my destiny,
No-one knows this pain like I,
Complete and utter failure.
I continue to exist,
Under the impression that I can too change,
Nevertheless I'm still a failure,
And that is always and forever,
God's sad failure, an experiment cut short in another's favor.
