Do you know what that's like?
Watching as everyone disappears into the distance,
And you're always standing in one place.
Feet cemented, eyes screaming,
Please don't leave me alone!
But they keep on walking, they don't look back,
They don't care about you anymore.
The pain erupts inside as you realize they aren't coming back,
You ask yourself why, why does this happen to me?
You try to walk, but you can't move,
Your fear is holding you in place.
Your binding fear doing more damage than good, you realize,
As others pass you by.
You try to raise the stakes, to take a chance,
But it leads you no-where.
They are still not coming, they still don't care,
Is this where you'll always be?
Empty, rich with sorrow,
A pain only you know.
